temptation.

There was a fire and then a flood,
as well as tears among warm blood.
We fueled the flames and quickly burned,
sought the storm for which we yearned.

Lightening crept between hips aligned,
thunder rolled on tongues entwined.
The night took us beyond the heated swell,
to the edge of Heaven, then straight to Hell.

    1. I hadn’t thought of this interpretation, but I do like it. It was actually written with in mind that good, little Catholic girls don’t have sex before marriage. Not quite regret, but shame – for liking it so much.

say something to me.
